CyberLink Partners with Hitachi to Deliver Digital Home Solutions for the Wooo HDTV Series

Taipei, TaiwanJuly 21, 2009—CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), innovative solutions provider for the connected media lifestyle, today announced the strategic partnership with Hitachi Consumer Electronics Co., Ltd. to release a customized version of SoftDMA – digital network player for the home network – for the Wooo UT800 and Wooo 03 HDTV series.

CyberLink SoftDMA’s support for DTCP-IP and playback of H.264 files allow consumers the freedom to stream high-definition content on the PC across the UPnP/DLNA network.

CyberLink SoftDMA automatically detects available media server within the home network allowing access and streaming of media content including videos, photos and music on DLNA certified devices. With CyberLink’s Media Server installed on the PC, consumers can access and enjoy photos and videos directly on the Wooo HDTV for an enhanced viewing pleasure.
