CyberLink PowerVCR II and PowerDVD Selected by Acer Aspire G600 and M500 Series Home PCs

With CyberLink Digital Video Applications, ACER Aspire turns into DVRs

Taipei, Taiwan----October 22, 2002----CyberLink Corp., a leading developer of digital video software and e-learning solutions, announced today that PowerVCRII 3.0, its Real-Time TV recording software will be included with the Acer Aspire home PCs. Combined with a TV tuner card, the software turns the personal computer into digital video recording center. It includes advanced viewing features like Pause Live TV, Commercial Skip, and Instant Replay. Additionally, both series with DVD-ROM drives will include PowerDVD XP 4.0 in the package, allowing users to watch high quality DVD movies.
