Taipei, Taiwan, June 24, 2003 -- CyberLink Corp., a leading developer of digital video software and e-learning solutions, today announced that TDK's new Midnight veloCD DVD-ROM/CD-RW combo drive will ship with CyberLink's PowerDVD XP 4.0 software. The TDK Midnight veloCD drive offers high-speed CD-R/RW recording along with DVD playback and will begin shipping in May.

PowerDVD XP 4.0 provides maximum playback functionality from a PC's DVD-ROM drive, with a wealth of advanced features including support for multichannel audio and customizable video and audio playback controls. "Once again, PowerDVD proves itself to be a leader in DVD playback solutions," stated Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink.
