CyberLink and NVIDIA to Showcase Hardware Accelerated H.264 Video Playback

Las Vegas, NY----Jan. 6th, 2006----CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), a leader in Digital Home solutions, and a contributing member of the Blu-ray Disc Association, will demonstrate accelerated H.264 video playback using NVIDIA's GeForce graphics processors with NVIDIA's PureVideo technology and CyberLink's new H.264 DxVA Decoder for PowerDVD™ at NVIDIA's CES Booth in Las Vegas, 2006.

Thanks to the new H.264 DxVA Decoder in CyberLink's MPEG-4 AVC pack for PowerDVD, owners of NVIDIA's GeForce 6 and 7 series GPUs will enjoy high quality H.264 video playback. NVIDIA worked closely with CyberLink to enable PowerDVD and the new decoder to accelerate enhanced high-definition H.264 movies on NVIDIA GPUs.
