PepsiCo Vietnam Deploys FaceMe® Security for Enhanced Employee Parking

Client Fast Facts

  • Location: Vietnam
  • Industry: Food & beverage factory
  • Year founded: 1965
  • Membership size: 318,000 employees

Problems and Challenges

  • Current employee parking system requires employees tapping an ID card.
  • PepsiCo wants to enhance their employee parking entry with 2 factor authentication, license plate and ID card.
  • However, ID cards can be lost, transferred, or even stolen.
  • Tapping ID cards is also a slower process, that can lead to congestion as employees arrive for their shifts.

The Solution

PepsiCo's DongNai location switched from using employee ID cards to FaceMe Security facial recognition. FaceMe Security detects the employees faces and confirms their identity. The employee's face needs to match their license plate in the system for the entrance gate to open.
