The system requirements listed below are recommended as minimums for running CyberLink MediaShow.
System Requirements for non-3D Features
Operating System
- Microsoft Windows® 10, 8/8.1, 7, Vista and XP (Service Pack 2).
- DirectX 9 or above.
Screen Resolution
- 1024 x 600, 16-bit color or above.
Memory
- 1 GB required (2 GB and above recommended for HD video).
HDD Space
- 1GB required.
- 10 GB (20 GB recommended) required for DVD production.
- 60 GB (100 GB recommended) for Blu-ray Disc production.
Processor (CPU)
- Intel Pentium D 3.0 GHz CPU with hyper threading or equivalent AMD CPU is minimal.
- AVCHD and MPEG-2 HD Profiles: Pentium Core 2 Duo E6400 or Athlon 64 X2 5000+ and above.
- CyberLink MediaShow 6 is optimized for CPU with MMX/SSE/SSE2/3DNow!/3DNow! Extension/HyperThreading/Dual Core technology.
Graphics Cards (GPU)
- Minimum Intel 945 GM and above.
- Minimum NVIDIA Geforce 6600 and above.
- Minimum ATI X1600 and above.
- 64MB-VRAM and above.
Note: Some animation effects may be turned off or degraded for lower end graphics system.
Internet Connection
- An Internet connection is required for the upload and download features.
Import Device
- Cameras via removable disk interface.
- Cameras support Windows Portable Devices interface.
Burning Drive
- A CD or DVD burner (CD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW or DVD-R/RW) is required to burn VCD/DVD/SVCD/AVCHD titles
- A Blu-ray Disc recordable drive is required to burn Blu-ray Discs

Operating System
- Microsoft Windows® 10, 8, 7, Vista or XP SP3** (Windows XP Service Pack 3 is required).

- TrueTheater playback: Pentium D 950 (3.0 GHz), AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ or above.
- DVD playback: Pentium 4 (2.4 GHz), Athlon 64 2800+ (1.8 GHz) or above.
Graphics Cards (GPU)
- TrueTheater playback: Intel G45, ATI Radeon HD 2400, NVIDIA Geforce 8800GT or above.
Note: we strongly recommend that you update your graphics card driver to the latest version. A 3D display device is required for TrueTheater 3D playback.
System Memory (RAM)
- TrueTheater playback: 1 GB required for Vista and Windows 7; 512 MB required for Windows XP.
Hard Disk Space
- 300 MB required.
Display Devices
- TrueTheater playback: display and glasses are required. HDCP compliant display for digital output. TV or computer monitor for analog output.
Internet Connection
- An Internet connection is required for web services.
