Creating Media Playlists

In the Media Library > Playlists section of CyberLink PowerDVD you can create a music, video, or photo playlist.

Note: playlists can only contain one type of media file, i.e music playlists, video playlists, photo playlists.

To create a new playlist, do this:

1.Click Media Library > Playlists, and then select one of the media tabs (Music, Videos, Photos).

2.Click on the Create Playlist button in the media window, or in the top right of the window.

3.Enter a Name for the new playlist in the field provided, and then click OK.

4.Browse to the media in the media library that you want to add to the playlist. Note that you can add folders and files from the Source > My Computer tab or from Windows File Explorer directly as well.

5.To add media to a playlist, do any of the following:

Note: you cannot add tracks from an audio CD to music playlists.

in a new empty playlist, open the playlist and then click the Add to Playlist button. Browse to and select the media files on your computer you want to add, and then click Open.

right click on a media file in the media library or in Source > My Computer tab, select Add to Playlist, and then the playlist name to include it in the playlist.

in a playlist that contains media, open the playlist and then click the Add button near the top of the media window. Browse to and select the media files on your computer you want to add, and then click Open.

After creating your playlist you can drag and drop the media to different positions in the playlist to change the playback order. You can also click the down arrow near the top right of the media window to sort the playlist media.

Note: right click on a playlist in the Media Library > Playlists tab and then select Export to export the playlist you created in the M3U, M3U8, and PLS formats. Right click on a playlist and then click Delete to delete it from the Playlists tab.
