Trimming Videos and Converting to MP4/Audio Clips |
You can trim movie files, TV shows, and videos in the media library, or on the Source > My Computer tab, and then convert them to an MP4 or audio clip.
Note: optical discs and disc folders cannot be trimmed. You must first convert the disc to a video file. |
To trim a video and convert it, do this:
1.Select a movie file/TV show episode/video file in media library, or on the Source > My Computer tab.
2.Click on the button.
3.Use the player controls or drag the playhead to position where you want the trimmed clip to start, and then click to set the mark in position. You can also enter precise timecode in the In position fields, or manually drag the mark in slider.
4.Use the player controls or drag the playhead to position where you want to trimmed clip to end, and then click to set the mark out position. You can also enter precise timecode in the Out position fields, or manually drag the mark out slider.
5.Choose whether you want to export the trimmed video as a Video, or into Audio only.
6.Click the Browse button to choose the location of the converted file.
7.Set the Quality of the converted file. If converting to an audio file, you can also choose the file format (M4A, MP3) of the audio clip.
8.Select the Upload to CyberLink Cloud to play on mobile option if you want to upload the converted file to CyberLink Cloud. See Playing Media Stored on CyberLink Cloud for more information.
9.Click Convert. CyberLink PowerDVD will trim and convert the file, and import it into the media library.
