Sharing Movies and TV Shows in Collections on Home Network |
You can share the movie files and TV shows in your media library on a local home network. As you are sharing them, you can organize them in collections.
Note: once you have shared your media, it can be managed on the Source > Home Network tab. See Managing Home Network Media for more information. |
Sharing Movie Files
To share movie files, do this:
Note: you can share movie files that are not in the media library on your home network by going to the Source > Home Network > Movies tab, and then clicking the Share button. |
1.Click Media Library > Movies > Library to view the movie files in the media library.
Note: movie discs, disc folders, and ISO files cannot be shared on a network. |
2.To share a movie file, do either of the following:
•right click on a movie file in the media library and then select Share on Local Home Network.
•select a movie file in the media library, click 
near the top right of the player window, and then select Share on Local Home Network.
3.Select an existing movie collection to add the movie to it. Or click New Collection to first add a new collection. Enter a name for the new movie collection, and then click OK to create the collection and add the selected movie to it.
4.Repeat the steps to add more movies to your collections. When you are done, go to the Source > Home Network tab to view and manage all the shared movies.
Sharing TV Shows
To share TV shows, do this:

1.Click Media Library > TV Shows to view the TV shows in the media library.
2.To share a TV show, do either of the following:
•right click on a TV show collection (season) in the media library and then select Share on Local Home Network.
•select a TV show in the media library, click near the top right of the player window, and then select Share on Local Home Network.
3.Select an existing TV show collection to add the TV show to it. Or click New Collection to first add a new collection. Enter a name for the new TV show collection, and then click OK to create the collection and add the selected TV show to it.
4.Repeat the steps to add more TV shows to your collections. When you are done, go to the Source > Home Network tab to view and manage all the shared TV shows.
