Sharing Videos, Photos, Music on Home Network |
You can share video and photo folders and the music in your media library on a local home network.
Sharing Video Folders
To share video folders, do this:
Note: you can share video files that are not in the media library on your home network by going to the Source > Home Network > Videos tab, and then clicking the Share button. |
1.Click Media Library > Videos to view the video folders in the media library.
2.To share a video folder, do either of the following:
•right click on a video folder in the media library and then select Share on Local Home Network.
•select a video folder in the media library, click 
near the top right of the player window, and then select Share on Local Home Network.
Note: if you only want to share individual video files within a folder, enter the video folder, hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard, and then select all the video files you want to share. Then right-click and select Share on Local Home Network to share just the selected video files. |
3.Repeat the steps to share more video folders. When you are done, go to the Source > Home Network tab to view and manage all the shared videos.
Sharing Photo Folders
To share photo folders, do this:

1.Click Media Library > Photos to view the photo folders in the media library.
2.To share a photo folder, do either of the following:
•right click on a photo folder in the media library and then select Share on Local Home Network.
•select a photo folder in the media library, click near the top right of the player window, and then select Share on Local Home Network.

Sharing Music
To share music, do this:

1.Click Media Library > Music to view the music in the media library.
2.To share music, do either of the following:
•right click on an artist, album, or individual song in the media library and then select Share on Local Home Network.
•select an artist, album, or individual song in the media library, click near the top right of the player window, and then select Share on Local Home Network.
3.Repeat the steps to share more music. When you are done, go to the Source > Home Network tab to view and manage all the shared music.
