You can upload media files to CyberLink Cloud* for playback on CyberLink PowerPlayer.
Note: once you have uploaded your media to CyberLink Cloud, it can be managed on the Source > CyberLink Cloud tab. See Managing Media on CyberLink Cloud for more information. * this feature is only available in some editions of CyberLink PowerDVD 23. |
Make sure you sign in to PowerDVD before trying to upload media to CyberLink Cloud.
Uploading Movies to CyberLink Cloud
To upload movie files in the media library to CyberLink Cloud, do this:
Note: you can upload movie files that are not in the media library to CyberLink Cloud by going to the Source > CyberLink Cloud > Movies tab, and then clicking the Upload button. |
1.Click Media Library > Movies > Library to view the movie files in the media library.
2.To upload a movie file, do any of the following:
Note: movie discs, disc folders, and ISO files cannot be uploaded to CyberLink Cloud. |
•right click on a movie file in the media library and then select Upload to CyberLink Cloud.
•select a movie file in the media library, click near the top right of the player window, and then select Upload to CyberLink Cloud.
•drag a movie file from the media library and then drop it on the Source > CyberLink Cloud tab.
3.Select an existing movie collection to add the movie to it. Or click New Collection to first add a new collection. Enter a name for the new movie collection, and then click OK to create the collection and add the selected movie to it.
4.In the Transfer and Upload window, configure the following options:
•Transcode quality: set the quality of the uploaded file. The larger the file, the longer it may take to download and play it back on other devices.
•Imprint subtitles: select this option if you want to include any available subtitles with the uploaded file, and then select the file from the drop-down list.
•Select audio language: if the movie file has more than one language available, select this option and which audio language you want to include in the upload from the drop-down list.
5.When you are done configuring the options, click Start to upload the movie file.
6.Go to the Source > CyberLink Cloud tab, click the Manage button, and then the Uploads tab to view the upload status of all the media you are uploading to CyberLink Cloud. See Viewing Upload Status for more information.
Uploading TV Shows to CyberLink Cloud
To upload TV shows in the media library to CyberLink Cloud, do this:

1.Click Media Library > TV Shows to view the TV shows in the media library.
2.To upload a TV show, do any of the following:
•right click on a TV show in the media library and then select Upload to CyberLink Cloud.
•double-click on a TV show in the media library, click near the top right of the player window, and then select Upload to CyberLink Cloud.
•drag a TV show file from the media library and then drop it on the Source > CyberLink Cloud tab.
3.Select an existing TV show collection to add the TV show to it. Or click New Collection to first add a new collection. Enter a name for the new TV show collection, and then click OK to create the collection and add the selected TV show to it.
4.In the Transfer and Upload window, configure the following options:

6.Go to the Source > CyberLink Cloud tab, click the Manage button, and then the Uploads tab to view the upload status of all the media you are uploading to CyberLink Cloud. See Viewing Upload Status for more information.
Viewing Upload Status
Go to the Source > CyberLink Cloud tab, click the Manage button and then the Uploads tab to view the upload status of the media you are uploading to CyberLink Cloud. On this tab, the following options are available:
•click the Pause button to pause all of the uploads. You can then click Resume to resume the upload process later.
•click next to a media file to cancel the upload to CyberLink Cloud.
•click next to a media file if you want CyberLink PowerDVD to stop the current process and upload this file first.
•click next to a media file that has been uploaded to view it in a web browser.
•click Clear All to clear all the uploaded media files from the view uploads list.
